Biography
Ken has undergraduate and graduate degrees in microbiology and molecular biology. He worked in cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic. Earned a degree in physical therapy and from 1993 was a clinician and manager in diverse settings including an outpatient clinic, sports medicine practice, skilled nursing facility, school-based therapy, state prison hospital, and home health. He has published articles and research in the physical therapy field and performed professional speaking. In 2011, Ken joined Periscope. In 2019 he became the National Clinical Director and oversees a nationwide network of clinicians with responsibilities that include clinical education and training program development. His multiple responsibilities aim to provide independent third-party assessments to health plan medical management teams and stakeholders providing the informationthey need to make decisions on durable medical equipment, home safety modifications and necessary services.
