Biography

Kristin has a Master and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy, a Master of Business Administration, and is an Assistive Technology Professional, specializing in the evaluation and process of assisting and customizing high level equipment like power wheelchairs for people with disabilities. Work experiences include acute care, outpatient, neurological inpatient rehabilitation, and director of a community adaptive gym. She is the owner of a concierge physical therapy, fitness, and wellness practice. Lead reviewer and consultant at Periscope since 2012, and an associate professor at Mount St. Mary’s College. Her teaching credentials also include spinal cord injury conference presentations, CPTA committees, projects for the Christopher Reeve Foundation, and collaboration on the APTA’s exercise and spinal cord injury guidelines.
