Biography
Megan has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology. She's an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, and an Assistive Technology Professional. She works at Periscope as a clinical reviewer and independent consultant performing assessments and providing recommendations on a health plan members’ durable equipment, home modifications and other medical needs. She has worked as a clinical specialist at Rehab Institute of Michigan for 7 years as a licensed physical therapist. Her teaching credentials include student research assistant with two publications at Marquette University, followed by Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University in topics like neuroanatomy, spinal cord injury, clinical decision making, and therapeutic modalities. She is passionate about ensuring patients have the appropriate resources and tools to facilitate recovery, safety and enhance the quality of life.
